It’s so important to forgive even for those of you who don’t think there’s anything left to forgive. Forgiveness is an ongoing process and one that frees YOU the most. Another helpful practice is to choose some thoughts that you love about your previous relationship. It doesn’t have to be related to the relationship. Perhaps you liked the way he fixed things. Or you appreciated what a good group of friends he has. Maybe you liked his grin. It can be anything. The object is to begin to look for qualities that you appreciated. You do this for no other reason than to change your energy about him. You purify yourself.
